Born in Fort Wayne, IN… but moved around alot growing up.
HOW YOU GOT STARTED IN GUITAR REPAIR:
Went to Full Sail and got an AS in Show Production and Touring. Went to work @ S.I.R in San Francisco as a backline tech, then moved back to Chicago and learned from 3CGS in Guitar Repair
HOW / WHEN YOU CAME TO WORK FOR 3CGS / BOBS:
Looking for a job in the Chi Reader, and managed to convince CE to hire me… Feb. 2003
FREQUENT REPAIRS / SPECIALTY:
Headstock Reglue with Cosmo, Top Cracks, Inlays, Touchups, refrets, and alot of customizations, routing and cobbling.
BEFORE YOU BECAME A TECH, WHAT OTHER WORK DID YOU DO:
Mostly retail in my teens, then alot of stage hand work, and backline tech work.
ANY BANDS:
Nope, prefer repairing guitars to playing
